Act 1:
Love- In act one, the two lovers, Lysander and Hermia are devastated when they aren’t able to marry. Lysander proposes for them to run away and live together.
Ambition- The couple are very ambitious, Lysander suggest for them to run away, knowing the consequence if they are caught.
Act 2:
Greed- In this act Oberon is very greedy, he tries to steal the indian prince from Titania to use as his knight.
Mischief- Puck is up to no good, he pours love potions on Titania and Lysander. The potion causes the people to fall in love with the first thing they see.
Act 3:
Love- Both Lysander and Demetrius are both in love with Helena because of the love potion.
Anger- Helena is mad at Hermia because she is convinced this love from Lysander and Demetrius is …show more content…
Main Conflicts
Act 1: In the first act the main conflict is that Hermia and Lysander want to marry, but are stopped by Egeus, Hermia’s father. He gives Hermia three options, marry Demetrius, go in a Nunnery, or die.
Act 2: Hermia and Lysander are planning on running away together. While the mortals are planning to run away Oberon and Titania, two fairies, are fighting over a boy.
Act 3: Lysander is now under the influence of a love potion. He wakes up and the first thing he sees is Helena and falls in love with her. Puck puts a love potion on Titania, she falls in love with donkey-head Bottom. Oberon’s plan is to give her the antidote in return for the boy.
Act 4: Oberon feels guilty after he realized the damage done by his love potion. Lysander and Demetrius, along with Titania are all under the love potions influence. Oberon orders Puck to give the antidote to Lysander and Titania.
Act 5: Bottom is missing and the actors putting up a performance for Hippolyta’s wedding are very nervous that the leader, Bottom won’t show up. He finally shows up, they end up performing for Theseus and
