Conflict, something many humans deal with in their lives, can be difficult to react to for some people and others might not know how. Conflict was faced by Anne Frank the author of “Anne Frank the Diary of a Young Girl” and Anne wanted to stay positive even in knowing that her friends and others she knew were taken and might be dead. In the short story “A Man’s Search for Meaning” Viktor E. Frankl, and his friends, stay positive even while in a concentration camp and play games together. Staying positive in the arise of conflict can help with health of the mind and body. Staying positive can affect the happiness of others and how they react to their conflict and it can also provide a way to effectively deal with conflict without anger or stress. …show more content…
In her diary Anne Frank states “So much has happened it's as if the whole world had suddenly turned upside down. But as you can see, Kitty, I'm still alive, and that's the main thing”. Anne Frank faces conflict that is dangerous to her life but stays positive by telling us that being alive is what she prizes. This positivity ends up giving a person motivation which helps deal with conflict a whole lot better than they could before. As stated by Helen Trencher ¨If properly managed, conflict can lead to better quality results¨. These better quality results can be better esteem easier and easier solving of problems. These results can lead to quicker problem solving, a happier person and an increase in moral and the speed at which conflict can be solved. As stated by Joshua Gowing in Psychology Today “Most of today's troubles will become bumps in the road when you look back on them in your rearview mirror, especially if you've got a buddy in the passenger's seat.” Joshua Gowin knows that friends can help with conflict and most struggles will be overcome and small. Most people fear that the smallest conflict can ruin their lives and render them useless, without a job, homeless and much more and friends can help lower the fear and stress. It can also help deal with conflict without anger or stress and this can lead to more friends and your stress would not be sent out to others in uncontrolled bursts. This is why dealing with conflict in a positive way is the best way to deal with conflict
