It was a dark December night, midnight struck the clocks as the TV flickers showing Netflix original show stranger things. so here I sit on the Velvet couch, my eyes struggling to stay open. The sound of wood burning in the fireplace is enough to comfort me from A Loss I've suffered. Then in the warmth and the sound of the TV introducing the new character 11 a knock softly echoes. Opening my eyes again the noise Echoes so I shut off the TV slip into my shoes and walk to the door. "Forgive me," I began, "sir, or madam, see I had been napping, and your knock came and happened to scare me. " then I open the door nothing but the dark. a harmless prank until it's not . a tapping at my window speeds up my heart beat so with courage my hands fling the shutters open and incomes and Ebony bird perching itself above my door. "Why are you here? What is your name?" Its confusing. "Nevermore." As to why the bird is here I have no clue though it's name is never more likely to leave like the rest the Raven and I battle question after question but only the reply of Never …show more content…
I've suffered through my losses and this daring bird make me question of them how dare it sit there taunting me as I struggle this evil angel staring down at into my car with his arrogance response as Nevermore and so the raven that the heaven-sent mock me as I spend my anger like coins in an arcade despair take over my form is the ebony bird repeat Nevermore leaving me stuck in my own Shadows
