A Long Walk To Water Book Report

A few weeks ago, we began to learn about a country in Africa called South Sudan. The lesson started when we read the book, A Long Walk To Water, everyday we went to class. Often times we get to discuss more about South Sudan and the events happening within the country and the countries bordering it. There are a lot of information to know about South Sudan such as the location, war, religion, history, culture and how it was considered the world’s newest country.

Sudan and South Sudan are located in the northeast of North Africa. Sudan is surrounded by the countries Egypt, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, the Central African Republic, Chad, and Libya. While the countries that border South Sudan are Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, the Democratic
