She started out with a great life as a toddler, but then it started to go all down hill. During the toddler years, her father was never there for her because he was serving in the war for the Philippines. This was somewhat a good thing because she didn’t have a big connection with him, so him dying during the war didn’t affect her much. Yet, this affected her mother emotionally. Furthermore, this is where she was with her single depressed mother from the age of four to eight, until something bad happened. At the age of eight, my grandmother’s mother died from a car crash while she was taking a bus home from work. At last, she did not know what to do with her life. She felt so emotionally stressed and just did not know how to take a next step forward. At this point, I realized at how lucky to be to have both my parents while growing up, and keeping in thought how hard it was for her to go through this. She was then taken under the care of her grandma for finishing primary school. Then, officially, the uncle from her dad’s side was marked as her caretaker once she hit secondary school. She lived with her uncle, aunt, and multiple cousins. As a result, she started to become suspicious with the uncle due to problems, for example,
