A Letter To Odysseus

A while ago, a young boy came to me for help in a search for his father. I tried to help and guide him through his troubles. Today, news came of Odysseus’s return - and I couldn’t be more pleased. I can’t bring myself to imagine all of the things that happened that led to this outcome. I send this letter with hopes of a good future and with my congratulations for you and the royal family.
I have known Odysseus son of Laertes for a long time now. We fought alongside each other and knew each other well. He was a strong man and a strong fighter. He was honorable and a hero. I am sure he is nothing short of that now. Our story begins long ago when war was rampaging the world.
