Two years ago a top-secret government experiment had gone wrong and they accidently released a chemical into the atmosphere that triggered something in everyone’s body that activated a flying ability. I finished doing my hair at about 11:30 so I got ready with 30 minutes to spare. Peyton was picking me up at my house so we can fly to a sushi place together—I don’t really like sushi, but I’d try anything for him—and I end up flying in circles in my room because I was so nervous! Time passed and I go to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror just to make sure everything look good. The longer I looked in the mirror, the more I regretted my outfit, but it was too late for that at 11:55 my doorbell rang! He’s early! There was no time for a last minute wardrobe change so I flew downstairs (through the hole on the floor from upstairs) and opened the door! My parents aren’t around, they went to Sunday church, but they let me stay behind. Peyton gives me a kiss right after I opened the door, it was sweet and unexpected, but he said he wanted to do it because he didn’t want to wait until the end of the date because it would be too long of a wait. He is so sweet! So we fly to the sushi place together and enjoy the rest of our date. To me, flying has made my parents more trusting, and as a person exploring his sexuality, trust is always good.
