A school is a diverse community full of stories and life. For the past five years, I have worked in a Title I school where many different cultures and beliefs mesh together into learning communities. My school is located right outside Fort Bragg, a military base. The students I teach come from all over American, as well as, many political refugees from other countries due to the proximity of the military base. There are also many migrant workers’ children attending the school which has created a substantial Hispanic population. Due to diverse nature of my school’s climate, I have been able to form many learn and develop my knowledge of other culture, as well as, forming strong bonds within the school’s community.
