A LETTER TO WEIR, MISSISSIPPI
You all have been fighting a good fight during the economic decline of your city. Continue the work that you are called to do. The election of Danny McNutt for the Mayor of Weir, is the beginning of new things that are being prepared for you.
You must forget those things in the past and begin to press on to your higher calling. Your latter days will be much greater than your past. But these are the thing I have to say to you, since you have elected him to be your mayor you must support him in this effort.
Do not backbite, condemn or bring judgment, hold him accountable to do the right things for his citizens. I understand that you have lost jobs, businesses, banking as well as grocery outlets. You even lost your high school. But it’s ok. All we need is men and women of faith with skills and solutions to bring forth a new vision for the city of Weir.
