Our story follows the path of a typical village boy named Cole. Tall and lean, but not weak, he is used to long, grueling days of work. The next morning, Cole left early, hoping to avoid causing a scene, but the entire village was gathered at the path, waiting to give him a big send-off. Cole thanked everyone as he walked through, and once past everyone, he mounted his horse and rode off. After a long day of traveling, Cole set up camp inside an old cave to escape the torrential downpour outside. He found a pile of dusty old bones in a corner, but other than that the cave was completely ordinary. Cole took all of his belongings out of his saddlebags to dry, set the bags near the fire he built, and then he lays down to sleep. He was awoken by a sound outside the cave. Cole got up, looked outside, and saw a huge black beast with a strange, mask-like face. Scared for his life, Cole ran deeper into the cave and encountered a dwarf.

If you follow this path, you'll come across the castle in no time, but take this, you'll be needing it." Dimitri said regretfully, then handed a strange stone to Cole. Cole thanked the dwarf, took the stone, and entered the room. Inside there were three hallways. One was straight ahead and blocked by a door with a strange hole in the center. The other two branch off to the left and right. Cole headed down the left hallway, and the wall fell, trapping him. He found a table with nine stone tablets on it and a picture on the wall behind it. After messing with the tiles for a bit, Cole found that the tablets make the same picture as the one on the wall, so he arranged them as such. When the final tile was put into place, the picture on the wall crumbled, and another stone remained. Cole picked up the stone, the wall behind him crumbled, and he continued into the other hallway. This time, there were gouts of flame shooting out from the floor, but Cole quickly noticed that there was a rhythm to how the fire was expelled. He studied it for a bit, and when he was confident in his timing, Cole sprinted across and the flames stopped when he picked up the third stone. Cole returned to the door, and when he approached, the stones begin to glow and snap together into a shape that perfectly fit the door.
