There are so many women out in the world who are amazing mothers who do all they can to raise their children and provide the best of the best. It is our job as the kids to acknowledge it and be grateful because in one way or another we will always have some part of them in us. Having a good mother in your life, someone that you look up to and admire and is your best friend is key for me to feel whole and happy with life but more importantly myself. Motherhood varies in every culture. The Urban Dictionary defines mom as, “The woman who loves you unconditionally from birth, the one who puts her kids before herself and the one who you can always count on above everyone else,” from my experience this is only part of what a mother does. The people who had the biggest impact on me is the woman who gave me life, my father, and my community. My mother was already there for me even before I stared walking, she was there to comfort me when I fell on my knees.
