In this book you will see these two sides of a good leader, snowball being the good leader and Napoleon the bad leader. With this they have given multiple things from each side to show how they are good or bad. There is one side where he is truthful, honest, never lies to or changes up on the animals. Then, there’s the other who lies, is manipulative, does everything to his advantage and makes the animals believe everything that he says and if they change up on him he gets his way.
First, with Napoleon you will see that he has used the other animals around him to get his ways. During the reading of the book you will notice how he is more demanding and more precise than Snowball. Napoleon has changed most the rules and lied to the animals to get his way and had told them that it’s still better than when Jones was there. Plus when he over took the farm he had the dogs chase off snowball so he wouldn’t get in the way of him and what he was doing around the farm. Snowball is the complete opposite of Napoleon. Although he was the one taking charge with Napoleon he had no bad intentions. Snowball had wanted better than what it was with Jones. Also, he was the one who was loyal to the rest and stuck to his word. Plus snowball was the one to come up with most the plans and ideas on how to better the farm. Another thing, he had trusted too easily because he didn’t see the bad in anyone only the good and didn’t realize what Napoleon was doing. Snowball also was truthful and worked well with others so when he had been run off the animals didn’t realize what was going wrong.
