Welding is when metal parts are joined. They are joined by heat. All welders must wear a helmet for safety. Welding is used in shipbuilding and automobile manufacturing. Welding also is used to join steel beams in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures. Welders can go from car racing to manufacturing. Although there are many types of welder, the most common welder today is the arc welders. Welders may qualify for any position but they would be places in a position that is suitable for them.

Welders usually operate and maintain welder equipment. Welders must wear specialized goggles, helmets and gloves at all times while working. If welders wear their googles, helmet, and gloves, they will keep them safe. Welder’s communications skills must be positive, due to the fact that that work with other welders. Welders usually study blueprint. Welding includes over 1000 manufactory activities. Being a welder can be dangerous sometimes. All welders must have a high school diploma. Welders must be able to pass a drug test at all times. Welders must have strong legs because they will be standing for over 5 hours. Welders must be able to list things over 20 pounds.
