A Freak Accident By Cherish Peterson

Improved Essays
I truly feel like it was a freak accident when Cherish Peterson left her two month baby in a shopping cart. Look at her emotional index during the interview she was completely distorted. I think people just really need to keep there cultural context to them self's and leave the lady alone. There is a time when your culture and ethics to your self and think about that person. Imagine if you were to ever make that mistake or even something similar to it. She had no intentions on leaving the baby there. Also the police investigated and declared it as a freak accident that should be the end of it. Yet people still trying to put their opinion into the mix and influenced the police to charge the Mom. I think if u declared it as a freak accident you shouldn't go back because of the mass Communication of social media and the historical …show more content…
Shes human not an octopus. Four kids can be hard to deal with at one time when there all so young. At that age the kids are running around screaming this screaming that doing this and that. I'm sure she was overwhelmed and distracted with all the things he had to do before she got home that she simply forgot about the child. Amongst all that to the fullest degree i feel that Social media should have nothing to do with the situation. People are going to have different opinions about the subject at matter. There opinions should not influence the police to come back and press charges on her. I do notthink the cases between Cherrish Peterson and Shanesha Taylor are related or should be compared to one another in any kind of way. Shanesha Taylor left her kids in a car intentionally while she went into a job interview. That is pure child neglect and endangerment. That could have been prevented by simply trying to reschedule the interview. Yes I understand that you did it to better your kids lifes and your situation but there was other was around

Months before this court case, people were saying, “Casey Anthony who?” Then the media portrayed it as a much bigger deal than it really is. Everyday someone gets murdered and the media chooses this one case and provide an unfair bias against Casey Anthony and basically brainwashing the public into thinking that Casey Anthony is a senseless, guilty murderer. Although some might say that the Jury made the right decision on the case because of the lack of evidence of the actual conviction of Casey Anthony. Media sources that say the jury did the right thing state that there is no reason to be prejudiced against evidence simply because it is circumstantial evidence.…

The first thing I noticed about this book was the amazing quality of writing. Right off the bat, I was hooked, drawn in by the fantastic storytelling of Ransom Riggs. In Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Riggs creates a world all it's own by mixing humor, magic, and mystery flawlessly. The way in which he writes is beautiful: ". . . these weren't the kind of monsters that had tentacles and rotting skin a seven-year-old might be able to wrap his mind…

I strongly believe that individuals making threatening statements on social media should be held responsible and brought to trial. Some of the internet outlets that support and do not monitor who and what is being posted on their pages should also be held responsible. It is far too easy for someone to hide behind the shield of a computer, laptop or cellphone. These individuals are given an opportunity to remain unidentified and can easily remain nameless while terrorizing, shaming and threatening an individual, company or country.…
