I. Defining Topic, Angle, Purpose
A. A profile on Forgotten Hero’s, veterans who live in our communities who are homeless while struggling with effect of post-traumatic stress disorder, physical disabilities due to their service, or become substance dependent compounded with the lack of family and social support is my topic.
B. Forgotten Hero military funeral services happen very often which some are due to the fact that many veterans become homeless and lose contact with family members. Decrease of health, becoming ill, and lack of treatment these veterans pass away many without families’ informed. III. Role of the Writer
Forgotten hero’s veterans who live in our communities who become homeless while struggling with effect of post-traumatic stress disorder, physical disabilities due to their service, or become substance dependent compounded with the lack of family and social support. This could happen to any veteran being called to active duty which that individual is require to put a hold on personal life upon return they may face unforeseen event which could possibly led to being homeless.
I have a relation to this topic due to I have come in contact with prior and current military personal that have been close or in this situation. I valued the fact that many of these veterans have paved the way for me, and to help give back I help when possible as well as generating awareness. Continuing with awareness and putting forth an effort will further help both the community as well as local veterans when help is
