I walked into the room unsure of how my English teacher was going to be like. I really wanted one who was really funny, laid back, but still serious. When I walked in, I gave a quick scan of the room and saw no one; I guess I was the first one. But then I looked in the corner of a desk, a dull mousy haired woman was at the teachers desk, but she was cowering towards the corner as if she was afraid of everything around her. I didn’t know what I felt about her. I looked at my schedule and read “English - Period 5 - Mrs. Martin.” “Hey Mrs. Martin, I’m Pipi!”, I said. I was greeted with a long silence as she turned her head to look at me. She pushed away the frizzy, unkept hair covering her face, and I could see her nails bitten to the fullest
