We all hear it, every day rambling on, especially when we want to relax and shut down for a while.

Have you noticed how you can be watching TV or reading a book and if questioned about the content, you have no real idea what the story is about.

You have drifted off hand in hand with that voice in your head, while it rambles on about all sorts. It’s very efficient at distracting you from yourself. It has had a huge amount of practice.

We live life, guided by the voice in our head. The voice that likes to keep things the same, keep you in the same place, experiencing life through repetitive reactions. Reactions from

One dictionary description of Intuition is as follows:
Intuition is the ability to understand something instinctively, without the need for conscious reasoning. A thing that one knows, or considers likely from instinctive FEELING, rather than conscious reasoning.

Synonyms= a hunch, feeling, feeling in my bones, inkling, sneaking suspicion, impression, premonition and gut feeling.

All of us have had one of these intuitive feelings at some point. An inner knowing, a feeling about someone, a situation, a place, a job, a new home etc.

You are intuitive!

This book does a great job keeping the reader what will happen next. If you aren’t into to history this book wouldn’t be for you. The great Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) one said, “I have never let schooling get in the way of a good education. The author Malcolm Gladwell wrote about a proposition of needing 10,000 hours of working at a craft to become really good at it, if not a master. I can agree with this statement, in that amount of time, repetition and sheer experience lead to a higher quality of work. Likewise, over time you begin to see patterns in what you are working with.…

I Wished It Was Over In A Blink Quite possibly the worst book I have read. This is coming from a girl who reads over a 100 books a year for the last six years that makes this serious. Malcolm Gladwell’s writing in this book was boring; there was nothing to break up the never ending word vomit. In the book it says the two main concepts are judgment and understanding, which I see it may be a wonky route to get there, and I may have had to pull over multiple times for a nap.…

Awakening Intuition is a discussion video which covers a therapeutic practice developed by Dr. Frances Vaughan involving the psychological function of intuition. For the purpose of the discussion, intuition is seen less as just an instinctive feeling and more so as a tool used in addition to one’s conscious reasoning. Despite the initial notion that intuition is an uncontrollable human activity within the mind, Dr. Vaughan’s belief is that intuition is a flexible and useful tool that with time and effort someone can “make it more accessible, more available to us, and also more reliable.” She suggests there are simple steps an individual can take in order to focus their intuition including quieting the mind, using attentional training, and developing self-awareness along with ethicality, the development of morals or the principles of morality, in order to utilize the mind and become more balanced as an individual.…

Despite the positive cognition that comes with civilization, Sigmund Freud, a neurologist and initiator of the concept of psychoanalysis, acquainted civilization as being something inadequate. According to Freud, civilization enables the human race to feel genuine happiness by outlawing actions that come instinctively by our individual psyche. Sigmund Freud believes that the human race was born inherently savage. He believes that each individual has inborn instincts that make you barbaric.…

It is not just through a sense but through a sense, more than one sense, reflection of our own minds and thoughts and all of the senses and reflections put together to form an idea. I do believe that the ideas that we carry throughout life are caused by the situations we experience in our lives. I feel that through experiencing different things in life give us these ideas to expand and learn from. These experiences give us the tools to learn and create concepts for further ideas. We also have ideas from experience because the senses and experiences that we get the information to form our ideas is influenced by these circumstances.…

    3. Apprehending one’s own self in intuition. Dispensing with the habitual view of a stable selfhood and replacing it with a model of an ever changing, evolving self, Bergson reviews our perception of epistemological processes and divides them into the perception of the outside features of an object and the perception of an object originating from within. Due to the practical rationality of everyday life we access the world, other people and our own selfhood from the outside and divide the world up mentally into static fragments that are easily comprehensible and stable.…
