Walking up to the door, Mary tried to peek through the small cracked doorway. Unable to see what was in the bathroom, her shaky hand slowly pushes the door open. She cautiously walked in and was surprised at the heat in the room. She looked around and quickly noticed how much steam was in the room as if someone had just taken a hot shower. Mary wanted to just be out of the bathroom so she turned to quickly turn off the running faucet. As she turned her eyes became glued to the foggy mirror on the wall. Witten in the fog were the chilling words, “you have my doll”. The hairs on Mary’s arm stood up as her wide scared eyes raced over the words. She sped to Abbie’s room and told her to wake up and Abbie was unaware of what was happening so she said ‘’mommy what’s happening and Mary said in a scared yet commanding voice ‘’nothing Abbie no listen I need you to go in my room and lock the door and call 911 ok Abbie can you do that for me’ ’said Mary ‘’yes mommy’ ’said Abbie and so Abbie ran to the room as told and locked the doors and was typing the numbers with her scared shaking hands. And while she was doing that Mary was locking all the doors in the house and closing all the windows and she went to the basement to lock the windows and as she was racing down the stairs to the basement the light were flickering on and off slowly and she tries not to be loud and as soon as she put her foot on

Nora Helmer’s rebellion against her husband and movement towards modern womanhood starts out rather innocuously. When Nora is introduced to us, in the first act, she is simply a young woman who wishes to protect her husband and perhaps have the slightest bit of freedom for herself. However, as situations begin to deteriorate her disposition changes, as do her feelings toward the life she has made. Her attitude shifts somewhat gradually throughout the play until around the middle of the third act, when she is forced into a somewhat somber realization that she is unhappy in her marriage.…
