With the ability and passion to assist families and children living in unsuitable living conditions, experiencing upheaval turmoil, and provide them with resources, support, and to be a powerful voice through advocacy. As ultimately rewarding as this is, it contributes and promotes the desire of social change. Children living in these conditions experience and suffer from trauma; regardless if they have fully processed it or not. Providing children with the appropriate measures and counseling services promotes a healthier well-being and state of mind for the child. One day I hope to open my own non-profit organization to help children who have been negatively labeled in society. I want to replace the negative label with a positive one in hopes to inspire these children to be something greater than what society has designed for them to be.
