A Disgrace To The Football World

It was the most intense match I ever had, we were down three goals to nothing, with 10 minutes left on the clock, the whole team was on the ground, we were all out of breath, we had abandoned the game. You could hear the sound of our coach shouting with his eldritch accent that nobody understood, you could also smell the smell of nature like you were in a forest. That night I wouldn't think about anything else other than how my team and I are a failure and a disgrace to the football world. That night was the night of my tenth birthday, my whole whole family were there, my parents and my siblings. When I looked over at my family's faces, I immediately knew that was their ashamed faces, so I immediately jumped up and starting running towards the ball, because I knew that I will go nowhere if I just stayed on the ground and just backed down.

Twas the night before the game, my best friend slept over at my house, we were told to sleep early because the game was at 9 in the morning and we needed a good night sleep. But of course I did not listen to my parents, so my best friend and I stayed up round-the-clock playing video games, which was a very synthetic idea. We had to be vigorous for the game tomorrow, and having a good night sleep will help

Till today I remember all my thoughts and feelings I had that day, and every bit of detail that I experienced. Now that I am 14 and going back to when I was 10 years old I would have to congratulate myself because seeing a 10 year old do no matter what to achieve his goal of winning that final game and making his family and friends proud, and never giving up is impressive even as a 14 year old. That day changed me, still today I would never give up until I achieve my goal, not only the sports that I play but also in school, and making everyone proud of
