A Defining Moment-Personal Narrative

It was early in the morning and my class were heading to downtown Grand Rapids. We were going to a place to look at colleges and careers we can have an opportunity of taking part of. Their was a stand of Davenport University. that were giving out things like any other stand , but everyone from are school was crowding. As I got closer you could see they only give the good things to people who were actually interested in the college. So while the stand was still crowded i took a pen, some chapstick and a red ball.when i took the ball it was time to leave to a new sector. we had to move sectors every 30 min. After we finished with the career quest we went to Rosa Parks Circle. There we had lunch, after I had my lunch I got my ball out from bag . I tossed it around in the air and walked around. Then all of a sudden a girl named Kennedy took my ball. I asked for it back but she just turned around and started to run. She ran behind the stage and started to throw it around with her friends. Her friends also happens to be my friends. So i asked Kaylee if she could throw it at me. She did but I didn't expect it so I missed and Kennedy took the ball back and started to run again. …show more content…
The steps were covered in small pebbles and I bad shoes on so when she started to make quick turns I slipped and fell. When I fell I tried to catch myself, I landed on my pinkie wrong. After a couple of minutes my pinkie had swollen so much that it hurt to move it. One of my friends attempted to move it so the swelling would go down. When they tried to move it, it was really painful to do so. In fact it was painful to move it even the slightest amount. After a while the swelling still didn’t go down. Later I want home and put ice on my pinkie all day long. When I woke up my pinkie was numb but still really swollen. Later I had convinced my mom to take me to the
