Steve Earle tells of his experience with "Jonathan Wayne Nobles", who claimed to be rehabilitated in the story "A Death in Texas" (Earle 72). I do not think that Nobles was truly rehabilitated. I believe Nobles was just putting on a show to try andget some self-worth, and get people to feel sorry for him. In my opinion, I think that there are a few things we should consider before we can say that someone is truly rehabilitated.

Do not be fooled just because someone claims to be rehabilitated and they do some good things. There are so many other thingsyou must consider, like how they might hide things they don't want you to know, and just how exactly do they really think and feel about stuff. We will never be able to tell someone's thoughts, but if they are changed, they will be totally disgusted with what ever it is that they are cured from and won't stand for any of it going
