I have amblyopia in my right eye, which makes my eye legally blind. Luckily, I hit my head on the right side and my right eye was swollen shut. I couldn’t slightly open it for one whole week. After six weeks, I was cleared for physical activities, which was the first day of basketball tryouts.

I had hit my head on the goal post and fell back, leaving me extremely dizzy once I got up. The next morning after hitting my head I had never felt so out of it or nauseous I knew things weren’t going to be good. I went to the doctors and took the concussion test.
