A.D. is a seventy-five-year-old female admitted to UVMMC on January 26th after being transferred from her local hospital.On January 27th A.D. underwent a laminectomy of the T10-T12 as her impaired mobility and dimished sensation over the last year had caused her to be chair bound and rely heavily on her family for ADL’s while still living independently. A.D. had expressed a great need to regain her ability to be self-sufficient and lessen the burden on her family and was transferred to Fanny Allen Rehab on January 29th with the admitting diagnosis Spinal stenosis of thoracic region. Chief complaint: paraparesis with impaired mobility.
