A Cry In The Wild Analysis

Decent Essays
I believe that Hatchet does a better job of telling the story than “ A Cry in the Wild.” I believe this because the book said said “we didn’t see his dad but, in the movie we did “(twice). His dad has blonde hair, and he was wearing a white shirt. On page 146 about the tornado in the book it says “water slamming and going in different directions. The movie you just see wind. On page 51, about the” mosquitos “in the book it says “his face was swollen and ,but he put his jacket on his face. The book, movie his face was not swollen and he put mud on his face. I think Hatchet is better than “A Cry in the Wild “because it gives more details and explains Brian more.

I believe that “Hatchet” does a better job telling the story more than ¨A cry in the Wild. I believe this because, they had more imagination to the book more that the movie. They had a moose in the book, the part where the blond haired man kissed Brian’s mom in the wagon. Brian had a friend named “Terry”. When Brian and Terry went to the park to play a pretend game like they were lost.…

Hatchet I believe that Hatchet has done a better job at telling the story due to. It gave a greater number of detail in the story to support whoever reads the book to more competently understand the story. For, example when the moose attacked him it gave so much detail I could feel the pain, and torture he suffered, but in the movie it did not provide as much detail as the book. When the plane crashed I could just feel the water, and I could make out the green, and blue of the lake. In conclusion I believe that the book Hatchet does a better job at telling the story than the movie Cry In The Wild.…

I believe that “A cry in the wild”does a better job than the novel Hatchet. I think this because A cry in the wild explains what happened way better than the novel Hatchet. For an example when the pilot had a heart attack the movie made it look like he was in very bad pain but in the novel Hatchet it didn't even sound like he was hurting. Also the movie uses way more foreshadowing and imagery. Like when Brian throws his hatchet across his shelter it made sparks.…

Originally published in 1963, Mowat sets out on his journey after being given honorary doctorates, he arrives at were his study is supposed to begin in the winter of 1948 and it carries on into 1949. I thought HATCHET did a better job at foreshadowing because it actually gave you a clue of what was going to happen. In a “Cry in the Wild” I really didn’t understand what was going to happen until it happened. On the other hand,I thought since it was a movie “a Cry in the Wild” had better imagery but just by a little bit because Hatchet had a bunch of descriptive words. All in all, I thought hatchet had a better compound of foreshadowing and imagery than “a Cry in the…

The biggest problems in America that I’ll briefly go over are drug addiction, depression, and education. Education is the stronghold to solving predicaments within a community as well as worldwide. As different as every person can be we are still one thing, a human. A special thing about us is that we can share a bond, an emotion, and I believe we’ve become cultural psychopaths who don’t empathize with people who are different from us. Disclaimer:…
