Macey and Stan Samson were ecstatic. After six years of being married, they were planning their wedding anniversary. They wanted to go to a sushi restaurant to celebrate in Bloomington, Indiana. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not get the memo about the couple's special night. When they arrived, they were seated quickly. It took 20 minutes before the waiter even brought them water. Then, they had to wait an agonizing 40 minutes before they received their appetizer.

She was browsing Facebook on a lunch break from work. As she browsed, she discovered a casino website giving her 120 free spins. Since she had 30 minutes to kill, she decided that she had nothing to lose. She tried her luck at the game and was completed shocked 12 spins later. On one fateful spin, she won the progressive jackpot in the online casino's game. In just five seconds, she had won $349,259. This number was more than 20 times her annual salary. Her waitress career was officially over.

Talking about the experience later, Macey still seemed shocked. “I could not believe that it was true at first. I though that it was just a game or that my coworkers were playing an April Fool's day joke on me. When I hit the cash out button and saw $349,259, I finally realize that it was actually real.”
