A Couple Quality Improvement Analysis

A couple quality improvement initiative, have noticed on my floor at Novant health presbretryian main is the use of patient id band scanning, medication scanning, pain assessment and falls assessment and education. I have also noticed many different staff members being readily aviable on the unit. By the hospital staff scanning the medication and patient ID band they ensure they are giving the right patient the right medication and it starts to prevent any unnecessary errors and potinal complications. On a psychartiry unit, things can get crazy at times and it may be hard to identity and scan everything, but if the nurse do so, it helps eliminate errors. Pain is usually something that is never asked or documented for any patient. Pain assessments
