The village of Sleepy Hollow was dark and gloomy. A crow is perched on the sign waiting for it’s prey to wander the dark streets.The street was so foggy one couldn’t see across the empty streets of the village.Off in the you could see a figure of a man on a horse.Who is this man on this horse? Brom Bones is a man in the village of Sleepy Hollow who wants to marry this beautiful girl named Katrina VanTassell. Brom Bones has one major obstacle in his way. The obstacle is Ichabod Crane a school teacher from Connecticut. For Brom to win Katrina’s heart he has to overcome his obstacle. Brom has liked Katrina ever since they were little kids, he has dreamed they would be together forever and eventually marry each other.But since Ichabod is in …show more content…
At the party Brom would flirt with Katrina. Every time he would try to dance with Katrina Ichabod Crane would be there in the way. Ichabod is like a fly so annoying and will not stay away from Katrina. Brom then said under his breath, “This will be the last time you will get between me and my love.” The village of Sleepy Hollow has a history of supernatural stories and stories about the Headless Horseman. Brom got to the point where none of his plans to eliminate Ichabod worked so, he had one more plan up his sleeve. Brom remembered how much Ichabod loves Katrina and would do anything for her just because she is wealthy and beautiful. He also remembered that Ichabod doesn’t like the stories of the Headless Horseman. Brom would write a note to Ichabod from Katrina telling him to meet her at the bridge to have a picnic at eight o’clock on Wednesday night. Ichabod would receive the …show more content…
“Today is the day.”, Brom said. Today is the day of the picnic Ichabod thinks he’s having with Katrina. Brom would sit back dressed up as the Headless Horseman in the woods beside the bridge and wait for Ichabod to come. At seven thirty Brom would see Ichabod come down the hill. As soon as he got to the bridge he laid down a blanket, he was so nervous for this picnic he would walk around the woods till Katrina got there. It got dark so Ichabod looked at his watch. It was ten o’clock. “It’s show time!”, said Brom Bones. Brom would then jump out of the woods and threaten Ichabod that if he didn’t leave the village of Sleepy Hollow and get away from Katrina VanTassell he would chop off his head to replace his head since he got his head blown off by a cannon ball during the Revolutionary War.
