Romantic love has devloped and changed a lot over time. People gain different meanings for it and they feel different things when it comes to love. For King and Country wrote, “Without You”, “Playing with Fire” is written by Thomas Rhett ft. Jordin Sparks, and the third song is “Photograph” written by Ed Sheeran. The three songs “Without You”, “Playing with Fire”, and “Photograph” desvrives romantic love as scary, adventerous, and sentimental.
The song “Without You” by For King and Country proves that romantic love is scary. The first stanza explains, “Strong hearts get to/ get too weak to hold her/ oh God forgive me” (For King and Country). The first quote is “I know I should let go take a different road when I’m driving home but I don’t want to” Love can make you do things that you know are wrong. In this quote you know that you shouldnt take that road home but you can’t help it because you love the person and are going after them. The second quote is “I’m all tangled up in barbed wire/ I’ll get burned/ I don’t learn/I’ll be back everytime/ yea i know it sounds crazy/ but i guess i like playing with fire.” This quote proves that love can be adventerous. Curiousity killed the cat and it got dangerous. It shows that if you play with fire you just might get burned. Love mis like the fire and it can hurt you. The third quote in this song is “I could find a spot to go hang out on Friday night but I don’t want to. Yea I could let it in call it quits call off this on and off again but i don’t want to.” Love can make you do things that play with your heart and you probably shouldn’t do. Going on and off can confuse and you might like the adventure now but you could be the one getting hurt in the end. Everyone likes a little adventure and love is a great big adventure because your heart travels everywhere and is being exposed to new and different things that are out
