You’re sitting on the couch, on a rainy saturday afternoon while eating a good bowl of popcorn and you are now in the mood to watch a movie. What movie do you watch? Captain America: Civil War is your movie, it is the top superhero movie that has been around since superhero movies started coming out. A plethora of great superhero movies have similarities, but this movie sets itself apart from all the other superhero movies. Captain America and Iron Man have split up into their own teams both wanting the best for the Avengers, and they want to come to a subtle agreement; however it takes a turn for the worst in all out war. Critiques from rotten tomatoes gave this movie a 90 % and IMDB gave this movie a 8.1/10, agreeing that Captain America …show more content…
Famous actors are what get majority of people to go to the movies, because people notice an actor they like or know, and want to see them in a specific movie role. Actors need to have a strong background, portray the Superhero well, and look as identical to the real superhero. Captain America has plenty of famous actors. Every actor in the movie is a familiar face nailing the roles in Captain America: Civil War. Robert Downey Jr. one of the best known actors in this film plays Iron Man. He has played Iron Man since the first movie of Iron Man back in 2008. Robert has had experience in the Marvel world, so he knew how to execute the role. He also looks identical to the Tony Stark from the comics. Chris Evans is another big name in this movie playing the one and only Captain America. Chris Evans was no stranger to the Marvel Universe. He stared in the film Fantastic 4 as the Human Torch in 2005. Following Chris and Robert is none other than Paul Rudd. Paul Rudd is a guy everyone has known, and throughout his career has been in plenty of comical movies, but never has been in a Marvel movie. This was a bit of a stretch for Marvel to hire Paul Rudd to play Ant Man, but the gamble payed off big time. Rudd’s humor as Ant Man adds another dimension to this movie nailing his role in every aspect. An engaging plot, famous actors, non stop action, and CGI find ways to take this movie over, and create a masterpiece. The plot had similarities and differences with the comic, the plot of Captain America: Civil War is accurate and enjoyable to watch. The famous actors in the movie such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Paul Rudd create a great atmosphere for the movie, and they all are exceptional. Non stop action is hard to miss, the choreography is outstanding making all the fights realistic as possible. CGI has a big effect on the movie working with suits, blasters, and war scenes making everything look realistic. Captain America is undeniably the best superhero movie that has ever been made.
