A Comparison Of Characters In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

If all of the characters in Romeo and Juliet were real, there are a few of them that I would like to be friends with. However, most of the characters I would detest with a passion, as they are complete imbeciles. One of the characters that I would like to become friends with is the friar. The friar is very wise and knows a lot. He seems to always have good advice, and he actually has a little bit of common sense. Another person I would like to be friends with would be Rosalind. The only reason for this would be to make Romeo mad and jealous so that I could laugh at him. Finally, one last character that I would like to become friends with would be Benvolio. He seems nice and peaceful. Unlike everyone else in the play, he does not seem to think

Friar Lawrence sends Benvolio, who is considered the identity crush in this situation, to check up on him, rather than going himself as a father figure. Friar Laurence and the Nurse are really important characters in the play. The reason for that is one the Nurse fills the role as Juliet's “mother” and Friar Laurence as Romeo's “Father”. This changes pretty much everyone’s thoughts of how they play a key important role to the play. Like how Friar Laurence acts more like a father rather than Romeos actual Father because he is happy about him and supports him. The same for Juliet the Nurse is supportive and helps Juliet out with her problems.…
