The purpose of this essay is to compare the rooms marketing of two 5-star accommodation properties web-based marketing of their room’s product and service. This essay will brief about the property’s philosophy and brand values, the property’s target market, guest expectation regarding Room Division products and services, tangible and intangible elements of Rooms Division and decide and justify which property has the best official website to tempt guest. The Rooms Division consists of two sub-departments which is the Front Office department and the Housekeeping department. (Rooms Division Management, 2016) For this assessment, I will be writing about the Front Office department. Identify each property’s philosophy Firstly, I will briefly identify Pullman Hotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre’s philosophy. Their philosophy is “Feel Welcome, Feel Valued”; we are far more than a worldwide leader. We are more than 180,000 women and men who share something unique. Each and every day we host the world. We care for millions of people. We are all moved by curiosity. We love blending cultures. We are proud of our differences. Yes, we lead the way. But we want to go further. With audacity, with imagination, with passion. Feel welcome. Pullman Hotel has six values that give sense to their action, values that drive the way they behave and interact. The first value is “Guest Passion, hospitality is our trade, pleasing people is what drives is.” This value explains that their guest is the driver of their decisions and actions. They put their guest first, care for them and will go an extra mile for their guest.
