Some possibilities are the oceans could warm and create more water vapor, which enters the atmosphere increasing the greenhouse effect but so will cloudiness. With more cloudiness it can keep incoming solar radiation which in return can reduce the warming. Changing climatic conditions causes the ocean water from the bottom to come to the top making the new water able to absorb more carbon dioxide. Another theory is that higher levels of carbon dioxide may produce plant growth and with more plants they are able to intake more carbon dioxide from the air (McKibben 26). So as you can see there are many possibilities, but this doesn’t mean we can predict any of these possibilities to happen. We cannot predict the ocean or the clouds thus the future is unpredictable, but we do know that we can prevent greenhouse gases by doing other …show more content…
We choose to ignore both and go on with our lives and forget what is happening around us like the dying of trees. Trees are a big part of our lives and they are the ones who have the effect to bring carbon dioxide levels down or up. It is said that trees contain a large level of carbon in them. The burning of the rainforest could release up to 3 billion tons of carbon a year, while the burning of fossil fuels releases 5.6 billion tons a year. The atmosphere contains about 750 billion tons of carbon, so even a small change in any forest could lead to great amounts of carbon being released into the air (McKibben 29). It also means the trees will die leaving no trees left to take in carbon dioxide. With all the carbon being released it means global
