Lori Randall captured our attention during the lunch with a slide show collection of current golf and past golf pictures from decades long ago. Lori has proven to be a remarkable golf historian and 9-hole photographer. Way to go, Lori!
When we were finally seated, Kris Quinn welcomed everyone and asked the question to whether anyone had golfed recently. The room was quiet and then a faint reply of yes could be heard amongst us; we soon discovered it was golf played out of state and it was quite apparent to the rest of us, that we were not so fortunate and instantly the room burst into laughter. We had a few hecklers among our midst, but all in good taste and fun. Nothing like an awnry audience to add a little zest to the afternoon.
We enjoyed a beautiful lunch, but most importantly, we took the time to help those in need, by passing around a donation basket for the FISH food bank. We didn't break our record of last year's $925 contribution, but we did manage to receive a total of $530 for the year. Thank you for your donation; every little bit helps and we will work on breaking that record next time. We can do
