There is a strong belief in this company from the public, their goal, and the design and safety features of their products. Additionally, they are beating out their competitors which include the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Ford Fusion Energy, BMW i3, which are all hybrids and not fully electric. People tend to look to Tesla over others because of the free supercharging network they provide. Tesla without any help has been able to create a nationwide charging network in the US and other countries that provide free and fast charging. All stations are solar powered, maintained by Tesla, and are almost as accessible as a gas station. With their technology they were able to develop roof shingles that are photovoltaic, and in hence took them to create what they call the solar roof.
