The interview that took place was enlightening. James Thayn (uncle) was the recipient of the conducted interview. He worked as a Watch Commander and at the Marine Corps Police Department (Barstow, CA.). With being in this position one would expect an annually income of about $30,000-$70,000. With this career, there are some select benefits that are provided; Medical, Insurance, Retirement, Dental are just a few. Vision is provided for the family but a small sum goes toward the vision coverage by the employee. The retirement plan is paid by the employment. In addition to that, they provide investment opportunities in the federal system called the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). The Life insurance policy is paid for by the agency for any on duty incidents
