It is well-known that students feel secure and encouraged to be in a classroom with a teacher who demonstrates professional responsibilities by wearing an appropriate dress, embracing professional manners and respects and being firm, yet building a rapport with students. The event that Hugh was late for his team’s peer teaching session seemed that he was not prepared well for the lesson even before the start of their teaching, which led to be seemed as a low level of professional responsibility. However, apart from being late to the class, the teachers were leading the lesson very well because they were teaching what they know well. Future, whose nationality is China, taught the basic level of Chinese and Hugh who studies music, taught the rhythm with pen-tapping. This choice of teaching methods might help them to organise and plan the lesson well, hence increase their confidences in the lesson. Teachers being confident on their teaching are important since it allows student feel supported, encouraged, engaged and challenged.
