I will graduate with a BBA in Accounting in December of 2018. I will then begin my Masters of Science in Accounting in the Spring of 2019 and complete it by Summer 2019, just in time for me to start law school in Fall 2019. I have always wanted to be a lawyer, even since I was itty bitty. I ultimately want to become a judge, but I must become a practicing lawyer first. I hope to go into a newer section of law called Lavender Law. It helps LQBTQIA+ people fight for/keep their rights. Lavender Law also specializes in getting the names and genders of transgender people changed to fit their identity on government documents. It is my biggest dream is to become a supreme court judge, but I’ll just have to wait and see where my career leads me, as that is no easy task. I do think my career choice is classified. It seems that lawyers and judges are often on the higher end of the class system. Although I do think the field has become much less “genderized,” I do still see it as a more male-dominated field. If I do not have this career, I will feel un-accomplished. I genuinely lie in bed at night and think about my future as a judge. I want to help others, and I feel the law is an amazing way to do so. I do think I will lose quite a bit of my identity if this career path does not
