A Career In Deaf Community

Serving and benefiting others in any way possible has always given me great joy. Growing up my aspiration was to be a teacher, but in high school I fell in love with American Sign Language and the Deaf community. From that point on my passion has not wavered and I now seek a career assisting those in the Deaf community. After completing an interpreter training program I will strive for my certification and plan to begin my career as an ASL interpreter in schools. This career path allows me to continue to serve others while financially supporting myself.
Along with ASL some of my passions include music, art and drama. I was blessed by a wonderful organization that provides free classes in the arts to children. Throughout my teen years I benefited
