Growing up I remember wanting to always help people in any every way I could, whether it's helping someone with groceries or just listening to people talk about their problems. Ever since I was young I can remember wanting to make a career out of that. I never wanted to do something boring like sitting in an office having a monotonous days for rest of my career. In the 5th grade we had to write about what career we favored and I chose to write about becoming a Police Officer. Career day came soon, and I met a real live police officer. Talking to this officer really made me realize how much an honest and dedicated police officer can do. Everything always made sense for awhile, then it suddenly didn’t. One thing I knew for sure was when I got out of high school I wanted to help others. Becoming a police officer was always on my mind. It seemed like the perfect job for me. I've always hated jobs that are monotonous and being a cop you're always on a different mission and on the move .
My knowledge on becoming a police officer is very limited and I'm hoping that this project will help me decide if being a police officer is the right job for me. Helping people isn't the only thing I’m passionate about. Singing is something I also love doing. Music has always been my biggest passion, but being a cop has always been my main option. My parents always told me that money doesn't matter, as long as you wake up everyday ready and happy to go to work. Being a cop I know I would never to have to worry about being bored at
