A Career As A Sports Nutritionist

Being an athlete all of my life I knew one day I would be working with athletes I just was not sure exactly how that would be. When I started learning about nutrition and how it can help people live a disease free, and healthy life I started to get interested. I started to self-study about nutrition and applying it to my own life. I started to feel better, and I became more energized because of the foods I was now putting into my body. I started eating healthier, fresh foods. I realized that my bad nutritional habits were affecting my everyday life; I was so sluggish, grumpy, and tired. Once I realized that the foods I was putting into my body was making me feel this way I knew I needed to learn all the ins and outs of nutrition so that I could teach others too. I knew becoming a Nutritionists was my destination. Once I realized I could get a degree in Sports Nutrition and work with athletes on a college or professional level I was hooked. I know this is what I will be doing for the rest of my life.
When I realized to become a sports nutritionist I would need to go back to school I did not hesitate. To become a sports nutritionist, first I need to get a Bachelor Degree in Nutrition Science. (Bureau of Labor

It has never been more clear to me than in this moment that I am on the exact path I want to be on. I am very excited for what will be in the next 5 years. Having a Master Degree in Sports Nutrition and having the ability to sit for the exam for a Registered Dietitian is a dream come true. I have finally found my true passion and calling in life. I truly believe in five years I will be working with athletes on their nutrition. It will be exciting and an honor to know I am helping athletes perform at the highest of their ability through
