A Career As A Section Leader

Being a leader means being able to talk to people about any problems or questions they might have, be responsible and respectful, and be willing to work with others. A good leader listens to others and is not too demanding. As a section leader, I will dedicate my time to my section's improvement. I would assist people who need it; to be section leader also means that I have to aid the Drum Majors and the band director in keeping order and making sure everyone knows what they are doing.

My first year in the band was extra special for me because my section leaders made it that way, and I tried to make the rookies’ first year in the band just as special by trying to be a good leader. Although there were some issues with miscommunication
