A Career As A Radiologic Technologist

I want to be able to pursue in my career for this and not just live up to being mediocre because you are just making it harder for yourself. After you go through your education, the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technologists, a national organization, will review and accredit radiologic technologists degree programs. Then, the certification is awarded by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians to people that complete the required education, training, being able to pass the exam; this is all part of the process for this demanding career. Through the education, it is going to be hard at times, but it is easy to kind of look past that part and think why you are really doing this. I will be looking forward to when I can be certified by them to be able to help others. …show more content…
Some are very basic, and others are a bit more challenging. You especially have to make sure you interact with your patient as much as you can, so they begin to feel comfortable around you. Also, it is important to explain the procedure being done in the least scariest way, especially to the younger kids. After you do that, they kind of have a better idea of what is going to be done. I know, if I wasn't treated fairly by my doctor, I would not like that and it would make me not want to have the doctor anymore.
