As a physician-scientist trainee, I always pondered over why things are done a certain way and if we can make them more efficient. Further, consulting provides me an opportunity to create immediate global impact, which the academic environment usually lacks. As I thoroughly enjoyed consulting for a medical clinic in 2013, I am confident that strategy consulting is a terrific career option for me. Additionally, I am looking forward to working with cognitively diverse colleagues and enrich my learning experience, which has primarily revolved around healthcare and life sciences. Lastly, as I have spent most of my professional time in hospitals, laboratories, and libraries, I am excited to "move out" and rekindle my passion for traveling.
