Nursing Personal Statement The Nursing field, in my opinion is one of the most honorable and respected career paths to be a part of. This career brings joy to million by comforting those that need it the most and most importantly this career path saves lives. Saving lives is the most important reason why I am choosing a career in the medical field. In middle school one of my good friends almost choked to death on a burger he ate too quickly. Instead of realizing something was wrong, I thought he was joking and laughed, trying to go along with what I thought was one of his hijinks.…
Helping others is rewarding and the process came natural to me. Coupled with my love for the biological sciences, this desire to serve others led me to a career goal: being a doctor. Eventually, I would love to become a neuropsychologist in order to help those with traumatic brain injuries overcome psychological deficits. Although this leadership role dealt with neither neuroscience nor psychology, it set me on the path to finding where my true ambitions…
In attempts to evolve with society’s needs, health care is constantly changing. It’s nearly impossible to say for sure where it will fall in the next ten years. There are many thoughts and hypotheses out there for the public eye. My prediction includes an immense need for providers, especially Physician assistants. There is a known gap between physician shortage and primary care demand.…
The medical field is what my overall career choice has been for years. I initially chose it because of personal reasons. One of those being that I would have died if it hadn’t been for a physician that saved me. I just want to do the same for others. Though I had chosen a field to practice in, I still wasn’t finished choosing my major and specialty.…
I love the idea of committing to lifelong learning of the body and healthcare. I am also fascinated by the idea that maybe one day, I will have the skills and background needed to heal people in need. My experiences as an immigrant has also inspired me to work in settings where I can help people considered underserved. In Texas, I want to work in a setting where I can serve those from low-income backgrounds. I also want to use my resources to aid people overseas, especially in Vietnam.…

I decided to have my career in the medical industry when i was in high school. I remember i was with a group of people and we were all talking about what we wanted to do in the future, and i had my answer right away, for as long as i could remember i always had a desire to help people and be someone that can make a difference no matter how big or small it might be. Working as a medical assistant is something i am very passionate about, and I can’t wait to start my studies. To tell you a little about myself, I was born in Ukraine with my sister, and our parents moved to The United States so me and my sister could have a better education and a better future. They always told us that education is the key to success, and I am committed to work hard and put all my effort in my studies and…
If I am going to be a Physician Assistant, I will be constantly helping patients and the physician. I will be giving a service to the hospital for the rest of my life until I retire. I like to help others because it gives me a feeling of generosity. I volunteered at my church frequently growing up and being able to help people for the rest of my life makes me happy. This world is full of people with different names, different cultures, different skin tones, and different perspectives.…
I had two very rewarding opportunities that allowed me to learn about the health care system.s. The role of a Patient care Assistant in a post surgical intensive care unit was one of these opportunities. I learned technical skills like acquiring, monitoring and recording vital signs, weight checks, and patient input and output measurements. I also learned nursing skills like turning patients, bathing, bed making, skin care, incontinence care, toileting duties and glucose fingersticks. Being in an ICU I also learn to provide supply, support and assist the medical staff with specific procedures like placing, removing and monitoring foleys, urinary catheters, bulb drains, and nasogastric tubes, amongst other things.…
It takes a real lion-hearted person to fly into the face of caring for ill patients. Nursing is a career that demands both life-saving skills and devotedness towards those in need of medical attention. Despite the fact, that it’s a career that is not for everyone I believe I have the aspect of fulfilling a sickly person who is in a vigorous environment. I seek to pursue in my near future an occupation, working as an emergency room nurse. As a former high school graduate, I completed my four years of school at Robert Morgan Educational Center and Technical College receiving knowledgeable hands-on training from teachers, who were medical experts in the healthcare field.…
To me the medical field is something that is very fascinating and a good way to help give back to others. I, Bibin David working as a Healthcare Assistant-Night Shift in Terrace View Retirement Village, Ashburton. I always wanted to work as a Mental health worker or psychology professional but I didn’t get any chances to study in those areas, mainly because all the healthcare programs are expensive to study compare to other programs. My desire to pursue a career in medicine initially bloomed out of an interest in Biology. During this time, I was able to experience volunteering in the medical field and my passion for medicine increased. My experiences have shown me that medicine is a strong fit for me.…
I am a compilation of firsts and I have never been more proud of this fact than I am now. To begin, I am the first of my immediate family to attend and graduate from a four year university. Both of my parents graduated from high school and then joined the United States Navy afterwards. While both gained a tremendous amount of knowledge throughout their career in the military and in life, neither had pursued a college education. My mother was the closest of the two.…
