The occupation of being a psychologist includes a whole lot of studying, but to be a researcher in psychology you 'll need a doctoral degree! For just being a psychologist you’ll only need to have a PhD. There are 4 years of college then there is 5 years of graduate school. As for a doctoral psychologist you will need a PsyD, including for clinical, school, and health it will require a 1 year internship which is part of the doctoral program. The Psy.D is a clinical degree and is often used for practical work, such as examinations which is more than a dissertation. As from other Psychologists they state that you do NOT need experience to be a psychologist!. Helping people has always been a calling to myself, I refer it to as "Guardian Angel" but in a Psychologist way. I always loved helping people since I was a very young girl, I felt like I can help change people 's lives in a better way, make their lives better by giving them advice, giving back. Myself would always think of helping others and guiding them to the light in a positive matter. Every time I would sleep over a friend’s house, we would talk privately over relationships, parents, or other things, they wouldn 't know what to do, so I would think of a solution in telling them what they can say to that person, and tell them to try this or that out and see what happens. A few friends insisted me being a music therapist in helping others put their feelings into music if they can 't talk about it, I would know i 've been there so many times. Psychology suits me very much, I 'm always interested in learning something different everyday, learning about what caused a problem, how it can be caused, even if there is a solution I 'll learn it just to take the advantage of it and giving it to someone else. I will be able to find a suitable job as a psychologist in helping people in need who seek answers for guidance, who will be able to live their life in peace and not worry about struggling to talk to someone. I will apply what I learned from my research into reading back into my project from psychology class into being my guide to guide me of what i 've learned that way I will always look back into what I have learned about what it takes and learning on how to become a psychologist, for me, I also surrounded myself in music, I always will, but for me, using psychology and a bit of music will surely help my career by mixing two things that I enjoy doing, hoping to spread peace and joy for patients who have been suffering long enough to feel relief and not a prisoner in their own
