When it comes to Beliefs, many people believe there are certain limits to know how far you should go. On the other hand, believing that sacrificing yourself for your own beliefs is very important. It shows people that you are not afraid to stand up for what you believe in. People will do almost anything to show the world they are not afraid. Many individuals may believe in an afterlife, some will do whatever it takes to stand up for what they believe in and others believe that their religion is so strong, they believe they need to do anything they can to show us that their beliefs are important to them. People underestimate others time and time again, but what they fail to realize is that individuals will do anything to stand up for what they believe in. According to the daily mail, they state: “A Buddhist monk has suffered serious injuries after setting himself on fire to protest against the slaughter of cattle.” (Bond Anthony) This brave Buddhist monk who saw the wrong in slaughtering cattle stands up for what he believes is right. In Siri Lanka, they oppose the killing of any life. In the Bible, there are so many times were the people stood up for themselves and for God.
