Later, in the movie Selena finds out from her father that Yolanda has been stealing money from the fan club. Why she did this, knowone understands. However, on March 9, 1995, Abraham and Selena, along with Suzette, confront Yolanda about the missing funds at a meeting. Yolanda denies that she had done anything wrong, and if given time, she will return the financial records. Selena angrily asks Yolanda how she could do this to her, and more importantly, to her fans. Selena confesses to her mother over her anxiety about the crossover album and her plans to start a family. The future is bright with
