A Brief Summary Of A Poem

I started to think about the burning of Magdalena’s office. She knows someone had caused the accident but doesn’t know who it could be. Raul Ramirez, the police officer who was investigating the case told her that whoever was behind the burning of the offices had at least some degree on pull and that someone important was out to get her. Carlotta is Magdalena coworker, and they were both in the offices when the burning happened. She wanted to get Carlotta out of Tijuana because she didn’t want nothing to happen to her. I remembered that earlier in the book Fahey spent three days with Magdalena curing her. He bathed her cuts with the medicine they had prescribed her and he gave her food before she went to sleep. The next morning he told her that he had made a mistake in not taking her to the hospital but she disagreed with him and told him that he had done the correct thing and acknowledged him for everything he did for her. Fahey put Magdalena outside so she could watch him bring in the herd. She didn’t know what herd he was talking about so then he exhibited the worms to her. As I looked in the dictionary I found that chrysanthemums is the flower of any plant. The word is so long and complicated to pronounce but has a short definition too it. Amalgamation was easier to pronounce but the definition was harder to understand. It means to make a combination, blend/combine. The last one I had a hard time understanding would be euphemistically. When I looked it up it would only show up as euphemism, and the definition for that was mild and indirect. I am assuming it is the same or nearly the same
