This quote was stated by the author in a interview where he is trying to give helpful advice to early entrepreneurs. This quote basically means if you don 't take a chance that greatly affects your life then you probably will fail because you didn 't even try. This quote fits in our society today because of all the new technology that is being invented is made by people that are taking risk to be successful. Churchill risked his life to escape from prison and not getting captured by the enemy while trying to get back to London. “During the Anglo-Boer war a London newspaper hired Churchill, while he was in South Africa where he was captured and imprisoned but makes a daring escape” (Thompson). Churchill risk his life going into a country in the middle of a war for a newspaper company. After being captured he risked his life by escaping enemy prion he was held in. One reason would be if you 're trying to start a new business you need to take risk even when times are tough just look at apple and how they had to take risk and now they are very successful from taking those risk. Let 's say you 're trying to invent something you 're going to have ups and downs and parts where you need to take certain risk so you can be successful if you don 't take them risk then you might end of failing and thinking later in life why didn 't I take that risk. My final reason would be even taking a risk in your personal life like buying a house or getting married those things can really change your life for good and bad the only way you will find out is take that risk.
